Georgina Mackley is an outstanding teacher with over 15 years experience working with children in various settings. She has planned and run major art events in Trafalgar Square, Kew Gardens and London’s Southbank and has collaborated with many art institutions including the Dulwich Picture Gallery, The National Portrait Gallery, South London Gallery and The Charter House Museum.

After completing a degree in Fine Art Georgina spent 15 very exciting years working in the fashion industry. After starting a family she retrained to be a teacher.

She is passionate about art education and believes art helps children express themselves, develop their skills of communication and problem solving, as well as helping them develop their social skills, their self-respect and self-esteem.

With the &ART sessions her desire is to create an art foundation for children, a creative space where they can experiment with various techniques, materials and artistic approaches, that they can then use to explore the world around them.
